  Hello again, I Heart Naptime-ers! Talitha from Love, Pomegranate House here! I'm excited to be back sharing with all of …

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line muffin pans with paper liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl combine Angel Food cake mix and water. Whisk until combined and stiff peaks form. {about 2-3 minutes with a mixer}
  3. Spoon batter into cupcake liners, filling them 1/2 way full. Once liners are filled, tap muffin pans on a hard surface 3-5 times to release any air bubbles and to help the batter settle into the liners.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and springy to the touch. Allow cupcakes to cool completely in muffin pans.
  5. Stir 2-3 drops of red food coloring into whipped topping. Frost cupcakes with colored whipped topping.
  6. Cut strawberries and add as garnish.

    The best thing about this recipe is that you just use a box cake mix and store bought whipped topping. So easy but so tasty! Can’t go wrong with that combination!

    Cupcakes can be a little hard to package as a gift. So I was thrilled when I found these adorable baker’s boxes in the dollar aisle at Target. They work fabulously for all kinds of treats and were perfect for my cupcake gift! Just pop those cupcakes into the baker’s box and you’re just about ready to go!

    Every Valentine needs a cute little saying to go along with it! So I whipped up a few treat tags that can be attach to your cupcake treat. You can download them for free here. Just print them out on some cardstock paper and cut them out. Then you can either tie them to your cupcakes with a string or ribbon or you can tape it right to the box!

    And now you have a great treat to give to those special people in your life! This would also work great as a Valentine’s treat for your kiddo’s classroom {if you are allowed to bring homemade treats} or for people at your work. You will definitely get a lot of love from whoever receives these!
