Hey there fabulous I {Heart} Nap Time readers!! I’m just tickled pink that Jamielyn invited me over to share a few baked gifts with y’all. My passion at My Blessed Life is to inspire you to creatively thrive in your home, so I hope you feel inspired to get your baking on!!

I grew up helping my mom in the kitchen making all sorts of baked goodies for family and friends. Now it’s part of who I am and something that I look forward to each year. There is something so fulfilling about giving deliciousness that you created in your kitchen to others that you love.

Pumpkin Cranberry Pecan Bread – This recipe is easy, oh-my-word delicious and perfect for gifting. You could make it in mini loaf pans and give it with or without the glaze. You will be your neighbor’s new best friend.

Easy Homemade Granola – This recipe can be customized with various nuts, dried fruits and flavors. It looks really pretty when given in a glass quart or pint-sized jar.

baked-gifts.jpgPeppermint Bark – Okay, so this one isn’t baked, but it is from the kitchen. :) If you need a quick treat to send to school with your kids or to take to a last minute party, peppermint bark is perfect. It uses only five ingredients and is a breeze to whip up. Plus, what is better than peppermint and chocolate? Yum!

Oatmeal Cranberry Chocolate Chip Cookies – I recently created these cookies and they were a huge hit for my family and those that we shared them with. The cozy blend of oatmeal with sweet chocolate and tangy craisins makes a perfect cookie. They would look beautiful given in a roll made with cellophane.

Cranberry-Caramel Chex Mix – I made a boatload of this chex mix last year to give away. It is a great recipe to give in clear cellophane bags tied with a pretty ribbon or a glass jar. Either way, your friends will love it!

Okay, I just noticed that four out of five recipes I’m sharing all have craisins. Hmmm, I guess I like dried cranberries around the holidays…or year round. {blush}

What is your favorite baked gifts to give away at Christmas?

I would love for y’all to come over and visit me at My Blessed Life where I share diy home decor and seasonal crafts, delicious and easy recipes and more to inspire you to creatively thrive in your home!

XOXO

    On Friday I actually made up our version of oatmeal, cranberry and chocolate chip cookie dough to stick in the freezer so it’s all ready for Christmas baking and gifting. And while I have a couple of sons who would take exception to the comment that nothing’s better than chocolate and mint together, I love it and am looking forward to whipping up several batches of Peppermint Bark. Thanks for sharing your great ideas!
