I’m so excited to be back at I Heart Nap Time. I don’t know about you, but I have this mantle (hooray for home ownership!) that screams to be decorated or redesigned every month or so. I saw these fabulous Burlap Canvas Panels at Michaels and knew they would be joining my mantle family. I decided on decorating with panel with my monogram, because who doesn’t love decorating with their name?

I designed a simple letter H, printed it out on heavy white card stock and hot glue-gunned it to the panel. I’ve provided the entire alphabet as a FREE DOWNLOAD so you can print out your individual monogram. You can download the free file HERE.

I then used Baker’s Twine & a needle (a really big one) and wrapped the twine around the letter. Super simple, although it does take awhile. It’s the perfect ‘I need to catch up on my DVR’ project. You could also use the letters as a stencil and paint inside the letters for a different look.  I am totally obsessed with how it turned out and love staring up at my latest mantle piece!

Love it, simple but sweet! It gives me an excuse to use some of that baker’s twine I keep stockpiling.
