As I was pulling down my Easter decor I was comtemplating what to put up on these white shelves. I usually put my holiday decor on them, but there isn’t a big holiday for a while. So I headed out to my storage cabinet to see what I could find. I have a storage cabinet in my garage with tons of photo props and decor pieces I have found on sale or while thrifting. Well as I was digging through my stash I realized I had quite a LOT of white dishes. I couldn’t believe it! Where had they been all my life? ;) I pulled them all out and I knew just what do with them. I stacked them all up on my shelves, rearranged them a few times and then I was done. Why not display all your beautiful dishes? P.S. You can find the tutorial for these Ballard inspired shelves I made on House of Smiths.

I love how the stack of bowls came together. They look so much better displayed on these shelves then hidden in my cupboard. I also love the milk glass piece I found while thrifting. I found it at Savers for $2!! That was an awesome find. Isn’t she gorgeous?
I love the glass milk containers! These were a recent purchase from Target’s white collection.
Ooo and possible my favorite dishes are these white ruffled cake plates. I may have a tiny bit of an obsession with cake plates. I have at least 8. :) I found these particular ones at Pier one last year.
Both of these pitchers were purchased from Ross. The baby one was only $2. I just couldn’t pass it up!
I made this mini chalkboard using this frame. All I did was spray paint it white and then painted the back cardboard piece with chalkboard paint. Such a simple project and I love how it brought the whole vignette together.

I love white dishes and open shelving! That looks great! So fresh and clean for summer :) I love that milk glass piece you found from Savers-what a deal! I’m currently loving the stoneware farmers market baskets from Anthro (all your white dishes reminded me of them)!

This is really stunning, Jamielyn. You photographed it so beautifully, that first picture looks like a Pottery Barn catalog spread.
Jamielyn
Ah thank you so much Ruth. Your Pottery Barn comment just made my night!! :)
