I’m excited to be here at the I Heart Nap Times Hello Summer series sharing this super fun DIY Mason Jar Monster Kit. We love the summer, especially the laid back relaxed days. Sometimes the kids tend to get a bit stir crazy though, so its fun to have new special activities to catch their attention. This DIY Mason Jar Monster Kit is the perfect boredom buster.

    SUPPLIES

    • Mason Jar (or large container)- I used a large 2 quart bell jar I found it at the craft store.
    • PomPoms- all sizes
    • Popsicle sticks
    • Pipe cleaners
    • Google eyes
    • Craft glue
    • any fun added accessories you’d like to add!

To assemble: Take all your supplies out of their packages to make them fit easier into the jar or container.  I put all the google eyes into a small plastic baggie so they wouldn’t get lost in the jar. First off add your glue to the jar, then add pipe cleaners, add in Popsicle sticks and pom poms, and finish off with google eyes. You’ll want to pack your kit fairly tight to make sure you fit in the most “monster supplies” you can. Next up, you can print out this cute label to attach to the jar.

You can find the file HERE (It is a jpeg and you can size it however you need to fit your container).

I added a cute little monster on top of the jar for extra cuteness, and there you have it…a super fun monster kit!

    Marie

Hello! I am Marie from Blooming Homestead and I have a passion for all things crafty, this includes home decorating, organization, digital design, DIY, and cooking yummy comfort food! As a recent first time home buyer, I enjoy making our house into a home while sticking to a budget (gotta love those student loans!) This usually requires me to think outside the box and get creative. I love sharing my tutorials and projects in hopes that I can inspire others. When I am not crafting, I like to read, shop, watch movies, and visit with family & friends. Most importantly, I love spending time with my husband of 11 years and our little boy who is growing up way too fast.
