Elmers Craft and Tell Giveaway!

Over the weekendElmers sponsored a craft night for me and 10 friends. It was SO much fun!!

I created these little goodies bags filled with tons of fun crafting supplies for each of my guests.

Then we started the night off with my famous Bbq Chicken Salad (I should probably edit that post, lol). It was a big hit!

After dinner  we enjoyed paper crafting with all the supplies they sent us.. and eating LOTS of chocolate!

I have to say my favorite product of Elmers is there glue spots. They’re perfect for tacking down bows and embellishments on cards. And they stay put!

My sister came down for the weekend…yay! It was so fun to see her!

    I love Elmer’s plain old white school glue! You can make SO MANY things from it…glue (obviously), DIY Modge Podge, flubber, slime…!

    Well, Elmer’s paste was always a good snack in the afternoons at school… LOL!
    I just love Elmer’s Glue-All. Although it’s not entirely waterproof, it can do the job nearly every time I use it. I saw a project on the Elmer’s site that used a baking sheet for a magnetic bulletin board. I’d love to use the stuff in the prize package to create my own version of that board, including a cork board using that foam.

    I visited Elmer’s website. I love the paint markers and glue spots. We lost all of our possessions in Katrina; what we miss most are the photos and baby books. I would use the prize pack to create new memory books with photos copied from family members and friends. (That will be evacuated with us next time!)

    The glue dots sound very useful. I would use them when making bows. I also like the xacto series that I saw on their website. The 12×12 cutting mat and a circular cutter would be very helpful for sewing projects.

    We go hrough tglue sticks, so that would be my first thought. Looking at the website ugh, I would like the Xacto knife and self healing mat. I can’t tell you how many times I could have used that in the past month. Love the memo board example too.

    I just love their plain school glue. I do a LOT of messy art projects with my 18 month old and a bottle of elmer’s glue is practically an art staple in this house.

    My favorite product, hard to decide, would be the paint pens. If I won the prize pack, I would probably invite a couple of friends over and we would make homemade birthday, get well, etc. cards. I love making cards and sending someone a one-of-a-kind, made from my own hands, card.

    Looks like you gals had fun! There are some things on the Elmer’s site that I didn’t even know were Elmer’s brand (Painters markers). I could use some Stainable Wood Filler for this old chest I have. (A cedar chest…not my own chest. :P)

    I would love a repair kit. I do craft a lot, and while their products are amazzzzing for crafts, right now with a 19 month old I find myself always needing to fix something or glue something back together…most of all glue a page in a book after she’s ripped it out! Yikes :)

    The spray adhesive is really convenient… but I also like the glue sticks. I am never without at least a good dozen gluesticks in my stash. I use them on everything from scrapbooking to giving my son something “to do”… thanks for the give away!

    I’ve recently been making cold porcelain pendants, using primarily Elmer’s glue and cornstarch, with small tissue paper circles cut out and decoupaged on them. So many items in this prize pack would be perfect for this project! I’m now following I Heart Nap Time and Elmers on Facebook, looking forward to getting some more good ideas.
