So have you ever seen those fun candy jars made from terracotta pots? I’ve seen a lot of people make them into gumball machines like the one here, but thought it would be fun to dress it up a little more! What do you think?!

These are pretty easy to make, and I think turn out really cute! Everyone could use another candy jar, right?!

make a candy jar from terracotta pots

Supplies needed:

Terracotta pot and lid

Glass bowl

E-6000 glue

knob

paint

painting terracota pots First things first is to paint your pot, lid and knob. Once it is dry you can glue the glass bowl to the pot. Then glue the knob to the center of the lid. After that you can add any other fun embellishments you’d like! I added some vinyl to the glass and glitter on the lid…just for fun!! :)

With my 18 month around the house, candy in a bowl is not such a good idea anymore, haha. This is seriously too cute! Thanks so much for sharing.

Nice colors! You painted very neatly. I like the white polka dots on the pot. It actually looks like Halloween snow man with the glitter lid on :) I've done some craft projects and posted on my blog http://www.makemania.com My favorite one is Laday Gaga Costume.
