Hey friends! It’s ME (have you missed me?)! I sure hope you’re enjoying this Crazy Christmas Crafters series! There has been SO many great ideas shared! My ever growing to-do list is now longer than ever! ;)

Today I get to share a fun little gift idea with you that I think would make the perfect gift for neighbors, friends and teachers. It’s simple and inexpensive. Two things I love!

Before I get started with the tutorial, I have to tell you about the new Martha Stewart paints I used. I was recently given the opportunity to review Martha Stewarts new line and was sent some amazing products! I have the best job ever!  I may have done a little happy dance when I opened up this box of goodies! I’ve had SO much fun playing around with all the paints and stencils.

The thing I love most about Martha Stewart paints are they work on everything!! There’s no need to have a separate paint for ceramics, wood, glass, etc. anymore. These paints work on any surface! Isn’t that fantastic?! Not to mention the colors are absolutely gorgeous! The pearl line is my favorite! Ooo and the glitter! Can’t forget the glitter! I also L-O-V-E the brush sets… they work great and they’re white! Swoon…

Supplies needed:

  • Brown Paper Bag
  • Martha Stewart Paints
  • Snowflake Stencil
  • Stencil Brush
  • Hole Punch
  • Decorative Punch or Scissors
  • Ribbon
  • Tape or glue
  • Gift Tag
  • Dipped Pretzels

1. Cut the bottom fold off of the brown bag. 2. Fold bottom edge over and tape/glue shut 3. Create a decorative edge along the top of the bag with a punch or scissors. 4. Use Martha Stewart paints and stencils to create a holiday gift bag. I painted the large snowflake with the red glitter paint first and allowed that to dry. Once it was dry I stenciled the smaller snowflake on top with metallic paint.

Once your bag is dry fill it with dipped pretzels (or another treat) and fold the top. Then you can use a hole punch to create two holes to tie ribbon through.

P.S. We couldn’t just stop with the gift bags. We’ve been making all kinds of fun things. I LOVE that stencil roller brush that fits right on top of the paint. It is PERFECT for my son to paint with. Seriously best invention ever!! We had a great time crafting with the new Martha Stewart paints!
