So I just uploaded all the pictures from my desk makeover (FINALLY)… but I had to share this amazing find with you first! A few months ago we had a neighborhood garage sell… and I found this vintage typewriter at my neighbors across the street! My heart started twitterpating when I first saw it. It was love at first site! I bought it for a mere 15 bucks! Little did they know the great value this typewriter really is.

I have a vintage typewriter too! It’s not as old as yours (at least, yours looks a heckuva lot older than mine), it’s from the fifties, but it’s in its original burnt orange plastic-trying-to-look-like-leather case and it is fully functional. I typed my save the dates for my wedding on it! It’s one of my most favorite possessions. This was a fantastic find!

Wow! I”M IN LOVE!! First of all I’m obsessed with typewriters. Second of all I LOVE gray. Third of all the 2 combined pretty much rocks my socks! I did a gray dresser and loved it…I”m really loving that color lately! Love your blog!

I love it! Isn’t it great when you can upcycle or renew something that would have ended up in a landfill instead you gave it new life and it’s gorgeous! If you come up with a quatrefoil stencil let me know. I’ve been Planning on doing that on a huge wall in our family room!
