Peppermint Brownie Recipe for Jar

Peppermint Brownie Mix for Jar {Gift}

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup Andes Peppermint crunch baking chips (or chopped Andes mints)
  • 1 1/4 cup flour (carefully add this layer as some of it will sink into the mints)
  • a pinch of salt

  1. Layer ingredients in a mason jar. Tie with ribbon and download printable tag with instructions.

Download and print the labels on a sheet of label/sticker paper. At my local Office Max or Kinko’s they call this 1-up sticker/label paper. It is one solid sheet.

      They are more like chips. I found them in the baking section at Wal-mart. Andes also has chocolate and mint green ones just like the dinner mints but crushed.

    These look so good. And a really cute gIft Idea. Can you tell me where I can get the Andes peppermint chips? Are they like chocolate chips but peppermint? Also ws s there suppose to be sugar twice in the recipe?

    This jar is pretty to look at, the brownies look yummy and the stickers are perfect. I am definitely making/sharing these this holiday. Thanks.

    I have never printed stickers at an office store – you send it to them as-is? With half stickers and half the round cut-outs? Thanks! Very cute idea for teacher gifts!! Carrie

    These didn’t work. I tried to do it exactly as the recipe stated and there wasn’t enough room in my one quart jar. I ended up just using one cup of sugar and it was fine, but not very brownie-like (more like a moist cake). Also, put the cocoa powder in FIRST, it will get all over the flour if you do it as the recipe states.

      Often when you do a jarred mix like this you need to compredd it with the back of a small ladle or something…Otherwise it won’t all fit….

    Hey there! I went to print these labels and it prints out 2 giant labels that are black and red, not these ones. Am I doing something wrong? I have these jars all made up and I need the labels! Thanks SO much!
