So…have you ever been stung by a bee? OUCH right? A few months ago my daughter was stung in the back by a pesky little bee and boy did she hurt! The sting site was immediately red and swollen and she was ALL tears! We just happened to be around the corner from a friends house so we stopped by to see if we could grab a bag of ice to keep the swelling down. And what happened next changed my life…(OK maybe not my life but definetly my opinion of oils). My dear friend grab her bottle of Lavender oil and Lemon Grass oil and rubbed them on the bee sting. I am not kidding you, my little girl stopped crying instantly and told me it didn’t hurt anymore! Within 5 mins and 2 more applications of the oils, you couldn’t even tell she had been stung!! Crazy right? Well naturally this got me very interested in what I sometimes tease and call “hippie stuff”. I love oils, have been using them for years. Here is another great tips with oils. I use Lavender but you can use whatever scent you like. Instead of using room deoderizers full of dangerous chemicals, simple put a few drops of your favorite oil on the inside tube of your toliet paper. Every time you pull the roll the room will smell like that oil.

I don’t tweet, but I did everything else! BTW, Lavender is GREAT if you get a deep gash in your hand where you slipped while fixing the water line and buried your lock jaw wrench into it. Stops the bleeding immediately and the pain is gone immediately and it doesn’t get infected! Add to that, after a while, use some coconut oil with frankincense and you don’t even have a scar!
