Spring has to be one of my favorite times of year. The flowers are in bloom, sunshine is in the air and the weather is beautiful! I finally pulled out all of my Spring decor this past week. I still have projects in the works… but we’ll see if I have time to get them done before Easter. {winks} Here is some of the Spring decor up in my home.
I up-cycled my cherry blossoms flowers wreath from last year. I added a lace flower and a mini bunting with butterflys. You can find the full tutorial here. I love how it turned out!
I displayed my DIYcanvas here with a few other Spring decorations. 
On top of my grey desk I displayed this cute little bird house and an owl I found at Hobby Lobby. I also found that little tree from the dollar spot at Target last year. Score!
I found this bird cage at Ross and gave it a couple coats of white spray paint to brighten it up for Spring. Then I filled it with some green grass and blue eggs. To give it some height, I staked the birdcage on a few books. I love how it turned out.
Of course I can’t forget about the cadbury eggs. Mmm I love those things! Probably not the best idea to have them above my desk…but I just couldn’t resist.
I love this little Happy Easter sign too. It looks so cute against my blue stenciled wall.

I love the bird houses. I think I will head to the dollar store to see if I can get a couple for the kids to paint! Here are two post on my decorations. For spring I love to put out fun things for the kids to do. Since we live in Canada our spring still has snow so sometimes its fun to do spring time activities like blowing bubbles and chalk inside the house. Since I scrap book I also like to incorporate spring colored layouts that I did as well.
