Strawberry Cream Pie

Today I’m going to share with you one of our favorite spring/summer desserts-Strawberry Cream Pie! My mom always made this for dessert in the summer and all the kids loved it! It’s probably the easiest dessert… and I promise ANYONE can make it.

Strawberry Cream Pie

Ingredients

  • Keebler Pie Crust
  • 1 small container of Lite Cool Whip
  • 2-3 yogurts strawberry, raspberry or lime taste great

Instructions

  1. Thaw cool whip in microwave for about 30 seconds. Next you will combine the the cool whip and yogurt in a medium bowl. Then place the mixture into the pie crust and spread out evenly. After this you will place in the freezer for about 4-6 hours before serving. You can leave it in overnight, just make sure to leave it out about an hour before serving to let it soften up a bit. That's it! Easy peasy!

Hope you enjoy! This is seriously one of the easiest desserts, that everyone always enjoys!! No one will ever know it only took you five minutes. And the great thing is… it’s only about 120 calories a piece. Perfect dessert to get you ready for swim suit season. Winking smile

Have a great day!

OK!! First let me say I have NO IDEA why I never heard of this before. My Mom isn’t/ain’t much of a “cooker” so maybe thats why. BUT my hubby kept mentioning a pie like this for the past few months. All I ever did was turn up my nose and say “babe I don’t think you can make a pie out of yogurt and cool whip” I said this in the “you are crazy and have no idea what your talking about voice” Then I saw this last night and, well……NOW I look like the big idiot! Being a good girl I showed him and he beamed with pride kissed me and said those words that are SO IMPORTANT to all men all over the world, “I told you so” I’m gonna make him this too. Ya know to make up for the “your an idiot you can’t make pie with cool whip and yogurt”! Thanks for sharing, Jamielyn! :)

My kids are going to LOVE this – and I usually have all the stuff in the house – even the crusts because they love pudding pie. They have just discovered they love lime yogurt (baby steps for my picky eaters) so this should be a hit. Thank you. :)
