Strawberry puff pastry with nutella

I'm so excited to announce that my first book, THE I HEART NAPTIME COOKBOOK: 100 easy and delicious recipes to make than less than an hour is now available for PRE-SALE!

Today I have a delicious treat for you: strawberry puff pastry with nutella. This yummy post is brought to you by The Chew!

Over the weekend I was watching The Chew (love that show) and saw this amazing recipe for Carla’s strawberry Napoleon. I happened to have pastry puffs and strawberries on hand, so decided to make my own version. I’m always looking for easy recipes and this is definitely one of those. This was the perfect summer treat!

Here are the ingredients you will need (plus a little sugar and whipped cream if you’d like). ;)

Strawberry puff pastry with nutella

  • 1 package of pastry puffs (found in freezer isle)
  • 1 cups of diced strawberries
  • 1 TB sugar
  • 1/2 cup of nutella
  • 1/2 cup of cool whip

1. Bake pastry puffs according to package. While the puffs are baking, sprinkle sugar over strawberries in a small bowl and stir. Cover and place in the fridge for at least 15 minutes.
2. Once the pastries are ready to go, spread nutella on top with a butter knife, top with a spoonful of sugared strawberries and whipped topping.

These are seriously so good and unbelievably easy! Let me know if you try them! :D

If you haven’t watched The Chew, be sure to check it out for many more delicious recipes. ABC’s The Chew is a delicious new kind of talk show that serves up everything food helping you make life fuller, more flavorful, and fun.

I’m excited to try some of these summer recipes next.
