Hello there! Its Linda from Craftaholics Anonymous® and I’m happy to be here to share a fun summery wreath with you today!

I made this wreath as a wedding gift for a friend. Of course her new last name started with R, so she loved having something personalized with her new last initial!

My cute friend loves the shabby chic style, so I tried to make a shabby chic summery wreath for her!

Here is how to make this easy Burlap Wreath:

Supplies:

  • 12″ Wire Wreath Form
  • 10-15 yards teal burlap ribbon {note: I used a different color burlap for the tutorial pictures :)
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • 12″ Wood Monogram {I decoupaged mine with scrapbook paper}
  • Silk Flowers
  • Crochet lace trim or ribbon

3. Continue adding more burlap loops until your wreath is as full as you’d like it. I used about 12 yards of burlap on mine. When one roll of burlap ends, tuck it under to hide the ends and start a new roll.

4. Hot glue your monogram letter and silk flowers in place on your wreath.

5. Then hang with crocheted lace trim or other coordinating ribbon for a shabby chic look.

These wreaths are super easy to make and look fantastic on any door!

    This is so cute! I love the blue and yellow together…so summery and fun.  I will have to steal this idea for some sort of 4th of July wreath! Thanks for sharing!
