Hey there!  Welcome to the Sundae Scoop link party! How was everyone’s week? Did anyone watch the Olympic opening ceremonies last night? We watched it for about an hour and I have to say it was a little weird at first. I thought Mr. Bean was hilarious though. That guy cracks me up! I walked in at the very end to catch the closing… which I thought they did really well. What did you guys think?

I can’t wait to see all of the fun stuff you guys have been up to. Hope you all have are having a fabulous summer!

Check out last weeks top 20 to see if you were featured.

Love! I am going to attempt to refinish a bench, I love the pink paint. I am nervous to try it though, it may be a “fail”, but I am going to try! –Jen@Freshinista

Thanks for hosting! As a Brit, and born and bred Londoner, we LOVED the Olympics Opening Ceremony – it was quintessentially British, and it brought a tear to my eye and a lump to my throat as I grew up in the that part of London.

I’m loving the Olympics so far, and hope that we’ll be lucky enough to grab an ticket to an event (although, so far, not successful :( )

You are always welcome at my link party, over at The Purple Pumpkin Blog which I host every Thursday!

    Thanks for hosting!
We watched the Olympics opening ceremony all the way through, it was mad! Absolutely showed the British eccentricity :) Was a bit disappointed by the lack of Doctor Who, but that was made up for by our Queen parachuting from a helicopter with James Bond! :D
