1st Birthday Bash!!

Share

My son Carson celebrated his first birthday, so of course we had to go all out! You know how it goes…

Birthday Banner! Thank you cricut for making my life so much easier!!! I love that thing… it makes banners a piece of cake! It does all the work for you, and then all you have to do is tie some ribbon to hold it together!
There is something about glass jars and lemonade that I love…especially when there’s a yellow polka dot ribbon wrapped around it! :)
I made holders for the utensils, just in case people forgot what a fork was. Okay maybe because it looked cute!
To make these, I got some formula cans and then rinsed them all out. Make sure to hand wash them and dry them right away because they are cardboard and will wilt. Then I glued some paper around it, and then stacked more paper and stamped away!
They also made great centerpieces/ balloon holders. Just put a rock in the bottom and fill with confetti.
Of course I had to make a door sign so people knew they found the right house…
Again love my cricut…and my friends who lend me their cartridges. I tell you it’s all about LAYERING paper that makes scrapbook pages that much cuter…oh and the distressed ink! :)
I think the party turned out just as I planned… it was definitely a lot of fun making all of the party decor!

I just found out you are a hairstylist well duh, no wonder I like you so much. So am I, all though I don't say that on the blog, ever. I am hiding from my crazy clients because they would be the ones who found me. Nice to know we have something else in common.
