Adding pops of color to your decor + free download

One of my favorite things to decorate with is COLOR! It just makes me all kinds of happy. You may remember seeing my living room makeover a few months ago where I used lots of turquoise and grey. Well, I thought it would be fun to add some more pops of yellow for Spring. Yellow is such a happy color and is perfect for these sunny days we’ve been having the past couple days. Bring on the sunshine!

I teamed up with one of my favorite companies, Shutterfly, to create some fun pieces of decor for Spring!

First up… pillows! Pillows are such an easy and inexpensive way to add color to a room. I own way too many pillows to count. They are just fun! And we may have lots of pillow fights around our house…

Adding canvas prints is another easy way to add pops of color. I just hung these up with command strips, making them easy to change out without leaving holes in the walls.

I also added some bright placemats to our kitchen table. I painted over my yellow walls (more pics to come!), so I needed a little yellow brought back in. :)

How cute are these blue plates I found at Target? I big HEART them.

To make the pillows that I have shown above head over to the Shutterfly home decor line and select the pillows and then ‘photo gallery.’ Then you can upload the saved image from your computer and place into the design. Arrange the image how you would like, but do not add text. Preview the design and then hit order. It’s super easy. I love how mine turned out!

For the canvas prints click here and for the placemats click here, then follow the same instructions as above.

Check out more of Shutterfly’s home décor on their website HERE. They will be having some awesome discounts this weekend, so don’t miss it! And come back tomorrow for a fun giveaway. :D

Also, to keep up on new products follow Shutterfly on TwitterFacebook and Pinterest.

SO let’s hear it… what do you do to add more color to your home?

So pretty! I love the yellow and blue in your home. I recently decorated my home’s living room and used pretty yellows and greens! I also framed pretty scrapbook paper and made a gallery wall for a fun look.

Yellow cushions, blue plates. Sigh. All you need now is a smoothie so you can sit back and enjoy your fresh new space! :)
