DIY Galvanized Memo Board by Marie of Blooming Homestead for I Heart Nap Time.
Hello Friends! I am so excited to be back at I Heart Nap Time sharing this DIY Galvanized Memo Board. I don’t know about you, but this time of year just gets so busy. I love the holidays and all the fun decorations and celebreations, but by the time the New Year is here I am ready to get organized and calm the craziness in my life. This memo board is a cute, fun way to add a little organization and it couldn’t be easier to put together!
- frame (desired size under 24″x36″)
- galvanized sheet metal (can be found at lowes or home depot)
- metal sheers
- measuring tape
- Opt: Vinyl and craft cutter for lettering
First off you’ll want to measure the size of your frame and mark where to cut your sheet metal. These come in sheets from the home improvement store and are sized 24″x36″ so you’ll want to make sure your frame the size or smaller (unless you want to go have custom sheet metal cut).
Using the metal sheers, you’ll cut the metal into the measured size. *Be careful, sheet metal can cut you so you might want to wear work gloves as a precaution.
And that’s it! Super simple to make and so versatile it makes the perfect piece of functional home decor! I decided to add a vinyl “to do…” to the top of my memo board. (I used Carolyna Pro Font)
This board makes a great gift and can even be used to display Christmas Cards!
I’d love for you to stop by Blooming Homestead and check out some of my other projects:
