By Kristin of Yellow Bliss Road for I Heart Nap Time.
Hey nap time friends! It’s Kristin from Yellow Bliss Road, back again to share a tempting side dish for your next family dinner!
Our family LOVES french fries. I personally don’t eat fries very often, but when I do it’s usually at one of our absolute favorite family friendly restaurants or the “copycat” kind I make at home. They are so good, and so addicting. The seasoning it what really makes them irresistible, so I’ve got a seasoning recipe for you to try out that will have your family begging for more!
These delicious steak fries are the perfect complement to from my Easy Baked French Dip Sandwiches that I shared on my blog today.
Since you are simply adding the seasoning to a package of frozen french fries, the prep time is minimal. Just bake your fries according to the package directions – we like ours crispy so I usually add a couple minutes of bake time. While the fries are baking, mix up the seasoning ingredients. The recipe makes about 1/3 of a cup of seasoning, so you can store the leftovers in a tightly sealed container.
Alternatively, you can sprinkle the seasoning on before putting the fries into the over to amp up the flavor (for this method, I recommend placing them in a plastic zip top bag for shaking). The saltiness can easily be altered depending on your taste – You could also use less salt, or leave out the salt altogether since the frozen fries are usually already salted. If you are going to cut your own potatoes, you might want to add additional salt.
I’d love for you to stop by and visit Yellow Bliss Road for more delicious recipes, like my favorite one pot meal creations – see you next month!
