Recently I decided to host a little GNO for some of the new friends I’ve made in my neighborhood and church. It was really fun to get to know everyone better. We all laughed and ate lots of yummy food! I need to do GNO’s more often! :)
I didn’t have a whole lot of time to decorate, but I have a few tips for you to make your party LOOK like you spent hours putting together. ;)
1. Include fresh flowers in the food display. Fresh flowers always add the perfect touch to any party.
2. Pull out your dishes you never use as well as some mason jars to hold your utensils.
3. Print out food cards for a quick and easy way to dress up the food table.
For our fondue party I used the Velata chocolate which is super easy and yummy. I also cut up fresh DOLE fruit and added some other things I had to the display for the non-chocolate lovers. Yes they really do exist.
Oh and if you’re throwing a dessert party, don’t forget something salty. I made homemade salsa and guacamole (recipe coming soon) which everyone loved.
Of course I had to serve the yummy DOLE banana dippers as well. Those little treats sure are tasty to snack on! Especially at only 120 calories per serving! Perfect for my sweet tooth. Have you tried them yet? Find them at your local grocery store in the freezer isle.
Pull out some glass jars to serve the drinks and add in fresh lemons. Also grab some fun napkins and striped straws. Easy and cute!
