Mini Pumpkin Treat Bag by Made to be a Momma for I Heart Naptime

Fall is one of my most favorite seasons. I love the colors, scents and the foods it brings. I may or may not have decorated for fall a week ago :)  Today I wanted to share with you a simple but oh-so-cute mini pumpkin treat bags that are perfect for treat giving during the fall season. You could even swap out the soft colors for some darker oranges and purples for Halloween. I did use my sewing machine for some fun thread embellishment but you can actually skip the sewing machine all together to make these bags even faster.

SUPPLIES:

MY OTHER RECIPES

Mini Burlap/Cloth Treat Bags, found at any craft store

Fabric for the Pumpkin

Green Fabric

Brown Felt

Green String/Ribbon

Hot Glue or Fabric Glue

First I cut out all the pieces I would need.  I cut a small pumpkin, green leaf and a brown stem.  This project is perfect for using up some scraps!  I also made a small bow out of some pretty green bakers twine.

This is where I pulled out my sewing machine. I just simply stitched around the shape of the pumpkin and the leaf, but again you can skip that part if you want.  Then start gluing your pumpkin pieces to the front of the bag.

I love this! I just posted some free printable Halloween tags that would be very cute with these. I may have to go pick up some of these bags and make some for my girls’ Halloween class party!
