Guest bathroom progress + MirrorMate giveaway!

Share

Things are coming along around our house. It feels great to start crossing projects off the list! ;) The first room finished was our living room and now I’m moving on to the guest bathroom. I’m loving all the changes! After the bathrooms are done I’ll be starting on my studio (which I am SO excited to decorate). I find that it is easiest to tackle one room at a time… however I always get side tracked. Do you get that way?

Bathroom makeover before and after copy

So here’s what we’ve accomplished so far. It’s amazing what a little paint can do! For more tips on painting you can find them here and here.

new door handles and painted door

MY OTHER RECIPES

We also had the doors painted and added new door handles which makes a HUGE difference.

painted white cabinets

Then last week I painted the cabinets with pure white paint. I also used oil rubbed bronze spray paint (amazon link) for the hardware. That is my go to! For 3 bucks these handles look brand new!

I also love the MirrorMate frames we recently added! It adds the perfect touch and was super easy to put up! Now I just need to move that light fixture up a few inches. You can see my last mirror makeover here. It makes a huge difference!

Mirror makeover

I’ll show more pics as I finish it, but I think it’s off to a great start! What do you think??

Progress made:

  • Walls painted light teal
  • Cabinets painted white
  • Hardware painted black
  • Doors and trim painted white
  • Mirror Mate hung

Still on the to-do list:

  • Tile floor
  • New faucet
  • Add baseboard under cabinet
  • Move light fixture up 2 inches
  • Decor

Still lots to do, but I’m glad the painting is done! It feels so much more open with the lighter colors.

Lucky for you MirrorMate has offered to do a giveaway for a $150 gift certificate to their shop. Yay! Enter below and you can have the chance to makeover your bathroom mirror!

I’m with you on getting side tracked. I’m rarely able to finish one project before moving on to another. The white cabinets look beautiful!

SO. MUCH. BETTER. But hang on to that pretty shower curtain that I saw in the mirror in the before shot – you never know when you might want to use it for something! ;)
