Ritz Chocolate Peanut Butter Sandwiches -a quick and delicious snack idea!
When it comes to planning game day snacks, I think Ritz crackers are definitely at the top of the list for a lot of people. When I was growing up, we had Ritz crackers at pretty much every holiday and family party. They are everything you could want in a cracker – buttery, crisp, and delicious! When I was trying to think of a game day snack using Ritz crackers, I wanted to try something a little different than the standard Ritz crackers with dip. These three-ingredient Ritz chocolate peanut butter sandwiches are incredibly easy to make and have that delicious combination of salty and sweet, as well as crunchy and creamy. Plus they’re coated in chocolate, so really what could be better?
As I said in my previous post, I’ve teamed up with Coca Cola and Ritz crackers for their Home Bowl promotion, dedicated to making game day easier, more fun, and more delicious! You can find Home Bowl at retailers nationwide as well as online. Be sure to check out www.homebowl.com for recipes, party ideas, custom invitations, and more! Thanks so all who entered the fun giveaway.

These sandwiches are so simple to make that the kids can help too! My seven year old helped with spreading the peanut butter and sprinkling her favorite chocolate sprinkles on top. I’m sure she could have helped with the dipping, too, but I was afraid there would be no chocolate left if I let her get too close to it (she obviously shares her mother’s love of dessert). They’re the perfect snack to enjoy while sipping on the delicious Coke Floats I shared a couple of days ago!

Ritz Chocolate Peanut Butter Sandwiches
- 24 Ritz crackers
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 4 ounces chocolate chopped, divided
- sprinkles optional
- Spread peanut butter on half of the crackers and top with the other half to make sandwiches.
- Add the chopped chocolate to a microwave safe bowl, reserving a few tablespoons. Melt the chocolate in the microwave at 50% power for 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted. Stir in the reserved chocolate and continue stirring until melted and smooth.
- Dip the sandwiches in the chocolate, then place on a parchment or wax-paper lined baking sheet to cool. Add sprinkles if desired. To help the chocolate firm up quickly, refrigerate for a few minutes.
