Watercolor Dessert Table w/ free printables

My daughter just started Kindergarten. On the first day of school the PTA had a “Boohoo or Yahoo” Breakfast and asked if we were boohooing or yahooing. I have to admit I was doing a little bit of both. I’m sad she’s growing up so fast, but it is actually really nice to have a little more freedom during the day. That’s why I created this Back to School Watercolor Dessert Table for me and my friends to celebrate #TGIBTS (Thank Goodness it’s Back to School)! It was nice playing games, having girl talk and eating desserts that were made for adults!
We even have some free printables for you…so scroll down to grab those if you’d like. :)
I invited friends from my neighborhood and these are the sweetest ladies! Seriously, so lucky to call them friends! Everyone either had all their kids in school or hired babysitters. My friend on the right also has the best baby in the world and he didn’t make a peep the whole time. Fruit of the Loom® sent me a fun party pack with a “Pin the Kids on the Bus” Game, T-Shirts for everyone, Balloons, #TGIBTS signs, a tote bag and coupons Fruit of the Loom underwear that I could give to my guests (and keep for myself!) The T-shirts are so comfy and having adults play “Pin the Kids on the Bus” is pretty much a riot, but having the coupons was my favorite part! Anyone else have kids that wear a hundred pairs of underwear a week? I could use all the help I can get :) For my #TGIBTS party, I served coconut lemon parfaits with fruit topping and whipped cream, craisin cookies and strawberry cake pops. The parfaits were so good! The bottom layer was coconut tapioca pudding, then I added lemon sponge cake and then I let the guests choose their own toppings. It’s such a refreshing dessert, so it’s perfect for an adult party (and honestly, my kids loved the leftovers too).

I made the background by cutting out 4X4″ squares of different colored construction paper with my watercolor paper and taped them together. Super easy and it turned out beautiful! Start Happy®!
