Easy Oven Baked Chicken Breast

This recipe uses simple seasonings of salt, pepper, garlic pepper, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika.

Flatten meat

Use a meat mallet or rolling pin to lightly pound chicken breasts until they are an even thickness. I like mine about 1″.

Season breasts

Coat breasts in olive oil, then rub the combined seasoning mixture and place in a single layer in a greased 9×13 baking dish.

Bake

Bake until an instant-read thermometer reads 165°F.  If your breasts are 1" thick his should take about 15-20 minutes.

Rest

Let your baked chicken breast sit for about 5-10 minutes to give the juices time to redistribute and settle. Then serve.
