Best Tater Tot Casserole Recipe

This easy tater tot casserole is layered with a creamy ground beef sauce, melted cheese and crispy tater tots. This simple comfort food hot dish is a family favorite!


Ground Beef Onion and garlic Cream of mushroom soup Sour cream and corn Cheddar cheese Worcestershire sauce Tater Tots Salt and pepper

Prepare beef mixture


Brown beef and drain excess grease, sauté onions and garlic. Stir in cream of mushroom, sour cream, corn, 1/2 cup of cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper then bring to a simmer.



Transfer ground beef mixture from the skillet to a prepared 9×9 baking dish. Spread on bottom, sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Arrange tater tots in a single layer



Place hot dish in a preheated 375°F oven for 35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown, the cheese has melted, and the sides are bubbling up.



Sprinkle chopped scallions on top and serve this classic comfort food for dinner.
