Homemade Hummus with Tahini

Boil Chickpeas

Simmer chickpeas in a pot of water with baking soda for 15 minutes. Then drain and remove skins.

Combine

Combine the tahini, garlic, lemon juice, salt, cumin, chickpeas, olive oil and cold water in a blender.

Blend

Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy. Add more water or seasonings to taste.

Top hummus with fresh parsley and a drizzle of olive oil if desired.

Serve with veggies or pita chips!
