Dry ingredients


Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves.

Wet ingredients


Beat brown sugar and butter until creamy. Add in molasses, mix, then add in egg and vanilla and mix. Add dry ingredients.

Chill dough


Divide the dough in 1/2 and wrap separately in plastic wrap. Press into flat discs. Chill at least 1 hour

Shape dough


Portion dough into 24 pieces and roll into balls. Flatten each ball and then shape the dough into an upside-down triangle.

Bake & decorate


Bake then remove from oven and press 2 chocolate pretzels into the top of the triangle, then add nose and eyes.
