Preheat the broiler in your oven. Place tomatoes, garlic, shallot, onion and jalapeño on a baking pan.

Broil in the oven for 5-10 minutes, or until the skins begin to char.

Pulse all of the ingredients in a food processor or blender until you reach your desired consistency.
