Easy Tater Tot Casserole

This recipe for tater tot casserole is a throwback recipe that never goes out of style. Made with made with a base of lean ground beef, cheese, and corn smothered in a delicious sauce then layered with more shredded cheese and topped with golden crispy tater tots.


Ground beef and tater tots Onion and garlic Cream of mushroom soup Sour cream and corn Cheddar cheese  Salt, pepper  Worcestershire sauce

Prepare beef mixture


Brown beef and drain. Add onions to sauté, then add garlic. Stir in cream of mushroom, sour cream, corn, cheese, Worcestershire,  salt, and pepper. Simmer.

Assemble dish


Transfer ground beef mixture to baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Arrange the tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.



Bake at  375°F oven for 35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown, the cheese has melted, and the sides are bubbling up.

Garnish and serve


Sprinkle chopped scallions on top and serve this easy ground beef dinner idea!
