Sweet, smoky and sticky, these brown sugar kielbasa bites are made in the slow cooker with brown sugar, cola and a pinch of chili powder. An easy party appetizer everyone goes back for.
Ingredients
2poundsKielbasa (2 packages), sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
¾cupbrown sugar
½cupcola
¼teaspoonchili powder
Instructions
Add to slow cooker: Add chopped kielbasa, 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup cola, and 1/4 teaspoon chili powder to slow cooker and stir well.
Cook: Cover the slow cooker with lid and cook for 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low.
Notes
To prepare in a skillet, add all ingredients to skillet and stir well. Bring to a simmer, then reduce to low. Simmer 7-10 minutes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave or in a skillet over low heat until warmed through.To freeze, let them cool completely, then transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
