This thick and creamy brownie frosting sets up perfectly and brings a nostalgic, rich chocolate flavor to homemade or boxed brownies.
Ingredients

cup
unsalted butter
, melted

Tablespoons
cocoa powder
1 ¾
cups
powdered sugar
2-3
Tablespoons
whole milk
1
teaspoon
vanilla
Instructions
Add ingredients
: In a medium sized mixing bowl, add 1/4 cup melted butter, 3 Tablespoons cocoa powder, 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar, 2 Tablesoons whole milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Mix:
Mix well using a hand mixer or a whisk. Adding the last Tablespoon milk, if needed.
Spread:
Spread over cooled brownies.
Notes
Can be stored at room temperature up to 3 days or in the refrigerator up to 7 days. Bring to room temperature before spreading on baked goods.
