This cake mix banana bread is soft, moist, and so easy to make with just 5 ingredients. Perfect for using up ripe bananas, it’s a shortcut recipe that tastes homemade!
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9x5-inch (or 8x4) loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, eggs, melted butter or oil. The mix in the cake mix and chocolate chips.
Pour the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Baking times may vary, so start checking for doneness around 40 minutes and adjust accordingly. If it's browning too fast, place a piece of foil over the top.
Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once the cake mix banana bread has cooled, slice it into 12 servings and enjoy!

Muffins: Line a muffin pan, fill 3/4 the way full and bake for 18 minutes or until a toothpick comes clean. Store: Wrap it tightly and store at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze slices for later.
