Make marinade: In a large zip top bag, mix together 1/4 cup olive oil, 3 Tablespoons soy sauce, 3 Tablespoons honey, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Reserve 1/4 cup for basting if desired.
Marinate chicken: Add chicken to zip top bag and let marinate for at least 1 hour, up to 8 hours.
Grill chicken: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Place chicken on grill and cook for 5 minutes. Flip and cook on the other side for another 5 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F.. You may need to cook a little longer, depending on the thickness of the chicken.
Notes
Variation: For a boost in flavor sometimes I like to add a dash or two of sesame oil and red pepper flakes.
