Resurrection rolls are one of my favorite traditions. Marshmallows disappearing into crescent rolls represent an empty tomb and are a sweet way to share the Easter story!
Ingredients
18 ounce package crescent rolls, such as Pillsbury
8large marshmallows
¼cupmelted butter
¼cupsugar
1Tablespooncinnamon
Instructions
Prepare: Spray a baking dish (I used 8x10 but a pie dish works great too) and preheat oven to 350°F. Melt butter in microwave safe bowl and combine cinnamon and sugar in another shallow bowl.
Press marshmallow in dough: Separate the dough into 8 pieces. Dip marshmallow in butter then roll in cinnamon sugar. Put one marshmallow in the middle of each piece of dough and wrap the dough around it.
Dip in butter and cinnamon/sugar: Dip the ball into the melted butter and then roll it in the cinnamon/sugar mixture. Place in prepared baking dish.
Bake: Bake for 15 minutes.
Notes
These are meant to be served right away. Double the recipe because these never last long!
