These chocolate covered Christmas Oreos are an adorable, classic and easy treat the whole family can help make! Only 2 ingredients and 10 minutes needed to make this easy dessert.
In a medium, microwave-safe bowl, add the chocolate candy melting wafers (type of candy wafer depends on decoration). Heat 1 minute at 50% power and stir. Continue to heat 30 second intervals at 50% power until melted, stirring well in-between. Make sure there are no lumps in the chocolate and that it is smooth and easy to stir. You may also use a double broiler, if preferred.
Place the Oreos on a fork and dip into the melted chocolate. Turn to coat completely in chocolate. When the entire cookie is covered with chocolate, lift it out using the fork. Tap the fork on the side of the bowl several times to let the excess chocolate drip off.
Slide the Oreo onto the baking sheet with a toothpick. Repeat with remaining Oreos.
Snowmen
While the white chocolate is still hot, place 2 candy eyes for eyes and 1 M&M perpendicular to the cookie as the carrot nose. Let harden completely. If the eyes or nose don't attach, add a dab of melted chocolate and press on after it has set.
Using the gel writer, pipe 5 dots for the mouth. Repeat with remaining Oreos. Let set completely.
Christmas Trees
Let the milk chocolate harden completely before decorating. Place remaining melted chocolate in a zip-top bag. Snip small corners off the bag. Pipe a Christmas tree shape in the center of the Oreo. Cover the tree in sprinkles. Add a dab of melted chocolate to a pearl and place on top of the tree. Repeat with remaining Oreos. Let set completely.

Dip the bottom half of the Oreo into the white chocolate, letting any excess drip off. Place on parchment paper and let harden.
Reindeer
While the milk chocolate is still hot, place 2 candy eyes for eyes and 1 M&M flat as the nose. Add 2 pretzel pieces to the top for antlers. Let set completely. Repeat with remaining Oreos.
Santa Suits
Let the red candy coating harden completely before decorating. Using the gel writer, pipe a line across the lower center of the Oreo to resemble a belt.
Add a dab of melted chocolate to 1 M&M and 3 pearls. Place the M&M in the center of the belt. Right above it, add the 3 pearls as buttons. Let set. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Sprinkles
While the white or milk chocolate is still hot, sprinkle with festive sprinkles. Let set completely.
