Made with Jello and sweetened condensed milk, stained glass jellohas a fun, brightly colored, broken glass look and is the perfect make-ahead dessert for all your parties!
Ingredients
43 ounceboxes Jello gelatin, I used blue, orange, red and green
Make Jello. In four small containers, dissolve one packet of each color Jello with 1 cup boiling water. The Jello should be about 1-inch or less in depth. Chill for 2 hours or until set.
Slice Jello into cubes. Once the Jello has set, slice into small cubes and place in a 9x13 dish. Place colors randomly so the colors are evenly dispersed around the dish. Refrigerate while you make the white gelatin.
White gelatin mixture. In a heatproof bowl, dissolve the unflavored gelatine powder into the 2 cups of very hot water. Once dissolved, add the sweetened condensed milk, 1 Tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla then stir to combine. Cool to room temperature.
Combine. Remove the color Jello cubes from refrigerator and pour white gelatin mixture over cubes. Transfer dish to fridge and chill overnight or until completely set.
Slice and serve. Once chilled, cut into squares or fun shapes and serve.
Notes
Store covered in the refrigerator up to 4 days. Change the Jello colors and flavors to fit any holiday or special occasion. Cherry or raspberry for Valentine's day, cherry and berry blue for 4th of July, cherry and lime for Christmas etc.
