½10 ounce can of diced tomatoes and green chilies (I use Rotel original), drained
Instructions
Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat till crisp. Remove to a paper towel lined plate.
Reserve about 1/2 a tablespoon of bacon grease. Add the onion, brown sugar, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Fry in the bacon grease till tender, about 3-5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and drain any extra grease.
Add the cream cheese and sour cream to the slow cooker. Stir in all remaining ingredients.
Pour into a lightly greased slow cooker. Cook on HIGH for 1-2 hours, or on LOW for 2-3. Serve warm with chips, crackers, or veggies.
Notes
You can also place in a small baking dish with extra cheese and broil until lightly browned.
