This caramel apple cheesecake dip is creamy, sweet and full of caramel flavor. Ready in 5 minutes, it’s perfect with crisp green apples and graham crackers.
2Tablespoonschopped nuts or Heath toffee bits, more if desired
For serving: Sliced apples, Graham crackers
Instructions
Combine ingredients. Add 8 ounces cream cheese, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 Tablespoons caramel in a medium-sized bowl.
Cream. Mix together with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
Chill. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Top: Drizzle with remaining 2 Tablespoons caramel (warm up, if needed) and optional toffee bits or nuts. Slice apples just before serving.
Notes
If you want to put the dip in a larger container, such as a glass pie dish, double the recipe. This is similar to the toffee apple dip, however has less sugar.Storage: Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days. For the best texture, add the caramel drizzle and toffee bits just before serving. I don’t recommend freezing, as the cream cheese can become grainy once thawed.
