This easy cinnamon sugar recipe takes 5 minutes to make with the perfect 1:4 ratio of granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle it over buttered toast, muffins and all your homemade baked goods!
Ingredients
1cupgranulated sugar
¼cupground cinnamon
Instructions
Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a medium size bowl. Stir until combined and there are no more streaks of brown or white.
Stir with a fork or small whisk until combined and there are no more streaks of brown or white.
Pour into a glass jar or empty spice shaker and seal with the lid.
Notes
To store: Keep in a sealed jar or airtight container away from direct sunlight. The mixture keeps for months, but for the best cinnamon flavor, use within 6 months. I love to write the date on the jar and keep it right in my spice cabinet!
