This homemade Chex mix is a classic snack with salty, savory and crunchy flavors and textures. Also called nuts and bolts snack mix, it's easy to make at home and irresistible!
Preheat the oven to 250°F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine the 4 cups Rice Chex, 3 cups wheat chex, 2 cups mini pretzels and 1-2 cups mixed nuts in a large bowl.
Melt 1/2 cup salted butter in a medium size bowl. Then mix in the 3-4 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, 1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt, 1 teaspoon garlic powder and 1/2 teaspoon onion powder.
Pour half of the sauce over the Chex and stir. Then drizzle the remainder of the butter topping over top and stir until well combined.
Bake. Dump the Chex onto a jelly roll pan and then bake for 45-60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
Notes
Slow cooker: To make this in the slow cooker, dump the Chex into your slow cooker and turn to low. Cook for 3 hours and stir every hour.Storage: Store in a covered container or brown paper bag up at room temperature up to 1 week.
