Homemade marshmallow frosting is easy to make with marshmallow fluff, butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. This fluffy icing is perfect for cookies, cakes and cupcakes!
Beat. Add 1/2 cup butter to a mixing bowl and mix with an electric mixer for 2-3 minutes or until light and fluffy.
Combine. Add 1 cup powdered sugar and mix until combined. Then add in 7 ounces marshmallow creme and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat 3 minutes or until fluffy and no longer sticky. Add 1/4 cup more powdered sugar if needed to thicken.
Store. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Pipe or frost baked goods. Frost on cookies or add to a piping bag and frost cakes or cupcakes. I prefer a 1M or 2A tip.
