This snickerdoodle hot chocolate is a delicious twist on standard hot chocolate, spiced with cinnamon sugar, it tastes like a snickerdoodle cookie and is perfect for the holiday season!
Optional toppings: Whipped cream, sprinkle of cinnamon, mini marshmallows, chopped white chocolate, crushed peppermint
Instructions
Prep. Chop the white chocolate.
Combine. In a saucepan, combine 4 cups milk, 1 Tablespoon cinnamon and 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract. Cook on medium-low, stirring continuously, until the milk mixture begins to simmer.
Stir in white chocolate. Once the milk simmers, remove from heat and add 1/2 cup white chocolate. Cover the pan and let sit for 3 minutes, or until the white chocolate has melted. Once chocolate has melted, stir to combine.
Serve. Pour into mugs and add desired toppings. Enjoy!
