Easy and sweet strawberry cheesecake dump cakeis made with strawberry pie filling, cream cheese, boxed cake mix, and just 5 minutes of prep time!
Ingredients
2(21 ounce)cans strawberry pie filling
8 ouncescream cheese, softened
1large egg
¼cupgranulated sugar
16ouncebox yellow cake mix
12Tablespoonssalted butter, melted
For serving: fresh strawberries, vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease the bottom of a 9x13" pan. Pour 2 cans strawberry pie filling into the bottom of the pan.
Make cheesecake filling. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, egg, and sugar until smooth and creamy. Add spoonful across the top of the strawberries.
Dump the box of cake mix over the fruit. Then pour 12 Tablespoons melted butter evenly over the top. Top with nuts if desired.
Bake for 35-45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Remove from oven and allow to sit 15 minutes minutes before serving.
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
