Free printable moving checklist

Today’s post is in partnership with PODS. I’ll be sharing a free printable moving check list.

If you follow me on instagram, you most likely know by now we are moving to Ohio. We will be starting my husbands 5 year residency for orthopedic surgery there. We are super excited and a little nervous for this new adventure! I’m excited for fall and all the seasons, but I’m a little nervous about living in snow. However…now I have an excuse to buy cute Hunter boots. ;) Any Ohio readers out there??

I’ve tried to keep everything super organized with this move and it has helped tremendously. One thing that has really helped was keeping a moving checklist. I printed off a moving checklist from PODS.com and used it several weeks leading up to the move. We’ve created a condensed version for you to download with a blank sheet so you can add your own checklist. Cute check lists definitely make packing a bit more fun. ;)

Ah, the joys of moving! My husband is completing his 5 year general surgery residency and we are on the move as well this summer! My tip for packing: be resourceful and use your towels as padding between fragile items. My encouragement for residency: you will be rewarded for your sacrifice. Find other resident wives to create a support network for one another.

These are just what I need right now! Thanks for posting these. We, too, are gearing up for a move to OH in July. So, I’m just starting to think about packing stuff that we will need as we prepare for the movers to arrive.

The weather is beaitiful right now in Ohio! We’re spending a lot of time outdoors. The snow may or may not be bad. You never know! It is pretty to look at though!

Good luck to you! I grew up in Ohio and still have family there. You will love the fall colors, trust me! It’s just gorgeous. I don’t know what part you’re moving to, but we were in the north central suburbs of Cleveland. Twinsburg has the largest Twins festival every year…they come from all over the world. Geauga County has an awesome county fair…and great maple syrup! Enjoy this new adventure!

Thank you so much. I am starting a new Reggio Emilia School and will be moving to a bigger facility. This list has some great points to remember and will help me to be professional in the move as we change to a larger building. Thank you!

This is helpful. I’m moving about 2 miles away next weekend. Couldn’t have come at a better time. Nice to know I’ve already done the things you suggested for 1 or more weeks out!

Thank you for this! I’m about to move in the next three weeks and it’s so stressful and overwhelming! I was looking for something to help me get organized, especially since I’m naturally disorganized.

Hey, thank you so much for this and your other post on moving. I know this is from a year ago, hope you are liking Ohio! We are both from Ohio but have been moving around a bit for the military. Now, moving back to OH soon from VA! With two little ones and being in school, it should be interesting! Thank you again. :-)

Thank you so much for this.  I hate moving.  I try to be totally organized whenever I plan a move, but it seems like I always leave something out.  This will be a tremendous help this time.
