With Valentine’s Day almost a month away, I thought I would start posting some fun crafts ideas, recipes and printables for you. YEA! I know some people think Valentine’s is a lame holiday… but I love it! It was one of my favorite holidays to celebrate as a kid. I always loved getting my class list from my teacher to make school Valentines. I loved writing all the kids names on my handmade Valentines. Of course I had to make a cute “Valentine mailbox” too. ;)
Today I’m sharing this “so glad we’re in the same shool” free printable. I love how they turned out. I added it up and they only cost me about .15 cents a piece. SA-WEET! My son is super excited about these. He may have already ate his. ;) This printable school Valentines was inspired by Faboolous. I just love this fish swimming in the sea. Hope you love them as much as I do! :)

Printable school Valentine
Supplies:
- FREE printable download (for personal use only… please link directly to this post if sharing)
- Medium size clear bags (found at craft store)
- Red Swedish fish (gold fish would work too)
- Red twine or ribbon
Instructions:
1. Download your free printable and print it out on card stock paper. You may want to take these to a copy store if you don’t have a colored printer.

2. Cut around the grey line.

3. Have your child (or help them) write their name on the printable.

3. Place fish inside a clear bag with printable and then tie with twine or ribbon. They do make small packages of Swedish Fish you could use, if your school won’t allow opened packages.

Here’s the gold fish so you can see that way too.

That’s it. So super easy and stinkin cute! I’d love to know if you end up using these. Please send me an e-mail if you have trouble downloading.

These are so cute!! However, when I go to download them, box.com tells me this file “has been deleted or is unavailable to you” – am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for such a cute idea!

Hey Monica! THank you! Sorry you were having trouble downloading. I’ve added a new source, which works much better. http://i1284.photobucket.com/albums/a580/Jamielyn_Nye/FishbowlPrintablecopy-1copy_zpsaea5b746.jpg

Hey Kristina! The small clear bags from Michaels (about 3 in wide) worked great!

Hey Stephanie! I just checked and it was working on my end. Try using google chrome, that should fix it. Open image in new tab and then save the image to your computer. Hope that helps! XO

Thank you for sharing this with all of us. I always love your printables and when I saw this on Pinterest I just had to download it. It’s perfect for my son’s school that doesn’t allow candy. We can do Goldfish though! Thanks again. I always appreciate your generosity of everything you share with us!
Alyssa
When I print the 4 fishbowls, they only fill half a page. What am I doing wrong? I need them bigger. Love the printable! Thanks! :)
Jamielyn
Hi Alyssa! When printing, make sure to select “full page” in the printer settings. Hope that helps!
Kim
Love this idea! I’m making them for my daughters class this weekend!
gigi
I absolutely looooooooove this idea!! … thank you for the freebie; it’s just too cute :)
Sarah
Hi, these are great! Can’t wait to use them. I did print them out and the fish bowls measure almost 5 inches wide. I bought some clear plastic bags at JoAnn’s and they’re only 4″ x 6″. I didn’t realize they wouldn’t fit. Does this sound right? I saw that you recommended the 3″ bags from Michaels, but I’m not sure how that would work (unless my fish bowls printed out too big). Thanks!
Jamielyn
Hey Sarah! The bags stretch quite a bit when you open them up. I used the smaller ones too. :)
Sarah
Oh great! I hadn’t opened them in case I had to return them. Thanks!
Kim
Love this! My daughter is diabetic and just started school, so the goldfish will be perfect for her!!!!!
Aubrey @ Real Housemoms
