Cream Cheese Mints

Melt-in-your-mouth old-fashioned cream cheese mints are easy to make with only 4 ingredients. Change candy flavor or color to suit any special holiday or occasion

Ingredients

Cream cheese Powdered sugar Butter Peppermint Extract Food Coloring (optional)

Combine

In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat softened cream cheese and butter until creamy and smooth.

Add powdered sugar

Turn mixer on low and gradually add 1 cup of powdered sugar. Add in extract and rest of the powdered sugar. The consistency will be soft and pliable.

Mix in food coloring

Divide  dough. Drop food coloring into each bowl and mix until the desired color has been reached. Cover each bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Form mints

Scoop out 1 teaspoon dough and roll into a ball. Dip a fork into powdered sugar and gently press it into the ball to flatten it. Repeat with all remaining dough.

Dry

Allow cream cheese mints to dry for 2 hours at room temperature.
