Sweet potatoes Oil Salt and pepper Garlic powder Cornstarch
Peel sweet potatoes and cut ends. Slice in half horizontally, then cut halves vertically into 4. Slice again each piece vertically into 8 pieces then cut the sweet potato pieces into thin sticks.
For extra-crispy fries soak in large bowl with ice cold water for 30 minutes. Drain, pat dry and place in a zip-top bag with 2 teaspoons cornstarch and shake until evenly coated.
