Sweet and crunchyapple nachos recipe layered with sliced apples, peanut butter, honey and chocolate chips. A healthy snack or dessert ready in only 5 quick minutes!
Prep apples. Slice the two apples into thin slices, just before ready to serve.
Microwave peanut butter. Line apples on top of a plate. Place 3-4 Tablespoons peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for about 20 seconds.
Assemble apple nachos. Place peanut butter in a zip top bag and snip off the edge. You could also use a spoon. Then drizzle melted peanut butter over top. Drizzle 2-3 Tablespoon honey on top of the apples and sprinkle the chocolate chips on top. Best served within the hour.
Notes
Variations:
Use a variety of apples such as fuji, granny smith, gala or honey crisp.
Use cookie butter or almond butter in place of the peanut butter.
